Assimilation 2008 Cancelled
Dear Science Fiction Fans,

It is with a heavy heart that must announce that, due to circumstances beyond our control, Assimilation 2008 has been cancelled.

After careful consideration, we have determined that the current economy can not support a science fiction event like the one we have been working to provide for Florida's science fiction fans.

We appreciate all of the support the local clubs and fans have shown us - and we look forward to bringing Assimilation back sometime in the future.

Sincerely yours,

Green Mustard Productions

For the very first time, the music from “Something Strange” will be performed live at the “Assimilation” convention this September in Orlando. A group of talented musicians have been recruited to perform the music from Paul Vincenti ’s rock opera “Something Strange” – www.somethingstrange.net - a tale of lust and jealousy played out over one tragic evening. A new “rocked up” score will be presented, along with various goodies and surprises. If music influenced by Hammer Horror and Pink Floyd whets your appetite, you are invited to a taste of this late night treat!

Note: the updates for July 24th and 25th will be posted on the 25th to avoid too many being posted on one day (today). Stay tuned!
